Adding & Managing Clients
Clients are the core of Iverton AI. Each client represents a business you're managing marketing for, with their own campaigns, analytics, and billing.
Adding a New Client
From the Client Selector
- Click the Client Selector in the sidebar
- Click + Add Client
- Fill in the client information form
- Click Save
Required Information

Client Statuses
Clients can have different statuses:
- Active - Currently engaged, full access
- Prospect - Potential client, limited features
- Onboarding - New client being set up
- Paused - Temporarily inactive
- Archived - No longer active, data retained
Changing Client Status
- Open the client details
- Click the status badge
- Select the new status
- Confirm the change

View key information at a glance:
- Contact details

Business Information
Configure business-specific settings:
- Currency - For invoicing (INR, USD, EUR, etc.)
- Timezone - Client's local timezone
- Billing Address - For invoices
- Tax ID / GST - Tax identification
Marketing Configuration
Set up marketing preferences:
- Target Keywords - SEO focus keywords
- Competitors - Competitor websites to track
- Brand Voice - AI content tone settings
- Social Handles - Social media usernames
Switching Between Clients
Using the Client Selector
- Click the Client Selector in the sidebar
- Search or scroll to find the client
- Click the client name to switch
Recent Clients
Access recently viewed clients:
- Recent clients appear at the top
- Star favorite clients for quick access
Keyboard Shortcut
Press Cmd/Ctrl + K and type the client name to quickly switch.
Client Onboarding
Onboarding Wizard
New clients can go through a guided onboarding:
- Navigate to CRM → Onboarding tab
- Select the client
- Follow the onboarding checklist:
- Welcome email sent
- Business information collected
- Integrations connected
- First campaign created
- Portal access provided
Onboarding Checklist
Track progress with the built-in checklist:
- ☐ Client details completed
- ☐ Website verified
- ☐ Social accounts connected
- ☐ Analytics connected
- ☐ Email domain verified
- ☐ First campaign launched
- ☐ Portal credentials sent
Client Portals
Give clients access to their own branded portal:
Creating a Portal
- Go to Portals in the sidebar
- Click Create Portal
- Select the client
- Configure portal settings:
- Custom domain (optional)
- Branding (logo, colors)
- Enabled features
- User permissions
Portal Features
Clients can access:
- Campaign performance reports
- Content approval workflows
- File sharing
- Invoice viewing
- Communication hub
Bulk Operations
Import Clients
Import multiple clients from CSV:
- Go to Settings → Import/Export
- Click Import Clients
- Download the CSV template
- Fill in your client data
- Upload the completed CSV
- Review and confirm
Export Clients
Export client data:
- Go to Settings → Import/Export
- Click Export Clients
- Select fields to export
- Download CSV
Client Archiving
Archiving a Client
When a client relationship ends:
- Open client details
- Click Archive Client
- Confirm the action
Archived clients retain all data but are hidden from the main list. You can restore them at any time.
Restoring Archived Clients
- In the Client Selector, enable "Show Archived"
- Find the archived client
- Click Restore
Permanent Deletion
To permanently delete a client:
- Archive the client first
- Go to archived clients
- Click Delete Permanently
- Type the client name to confirm
Permanent deletion cannot be undone. All client data, campaigns, and history will be lost.

Naming Conventions
Use consistent naming:
Company Name- Primary nameCompany Name (Location)- For multi-location clientsParent - Subsidiary- For related companies
Data Completeness
Complete client profiles enable:
- Better AI content generation
- Accurate reporting
- Proper invoicing
- Effective automation
Regular Reviews
Schedule periodic client reviews:
- Update contact information
- Review active campaigns
- Check integration status
- Assess performance metrics
